CARE & MAINTENANCE
Thunbergia (Thunbergia Alata Blushing Susie) - This very popular Black-Eyed Susan Vine is loaded with masses of cheery flowers in every shade of red, plus pink, salmon, and even the occasional apricot or ivory. Just as easy to grow as the original orange and yellow thunbergias Outsidepride also carries, "Blushing Susie" this vine is a unique plant that grow well in patio containers, on trellises, the annual border, and anywhere else you want a splash of bold color.
This Black-Eyed Susan blend just did not happen over night. It tooks many years to find the perfect color combinations with lots of reds, and variations from pink to peach, plus a few whites thrown in for contrast. The blooms are wide open measuring 1 - 2 inches across. They are very profuse, simply covering this compact vine over a long periods of time from early summer clear up until frost often up to six months depending on your location.
Thunbergia grows best in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Blushing Susie should be sown directly into the soil or container in which it will be grown. Plant the seeds after frost season is over in the Spring and night time temperature are staying consistently warm. In no time you will have a beautiful colorful display!
