Usually Stock flowers are grown as annuals; however, they can grow as perennials in frost free zones or in areas that get very light frosts. Garden Stock flowers prefer cooler summers, so they do very well in coastal climates. In warm winter regions, set out Stock plants in the fall for winter blooms.
