How To Grow
If starting indoors, sow marigold seeds into starter trays or small pots a few weeks before the last expected frost. Press the seeds into the soil and very lightly cover. Keep seeds moist until germination. Marigold seeds can also be sown directly outdoors in the spring once temperatures have warmed. Sow into a prepared seedbed and lightly cover the seeds with soil. The final growing location for these seeds should be in average soil in an area of full sun. Soil that is too fertile can result in lush foliage but poor blooms.
