Osteospermum (Osteospermum Ecklonis Akila Lavender Shades) - African Daisy tender perennial flowers are grown from Osteospermum Ecklonis seeds in USDA zones 9 - 10. They are tender perennials but can easily be grown in cooler zones as an annual, and it's a quick and easy bloomer giving a wonderful display. The Osteospermum African Daisy blooms when the weather is cool, making them good color for early Spring. Only reaches 10 - 14 inches tall and 14 - 20 inches wide make it an excellent choice for the front of the border. Plants are both heat and drought tolerant.
Osteospermum Akila Lavender Shades has 2 - 3 inch daisy-like flowers . In warm climates it will bloom from early Spring into Fall.
